Existing vinyl is carefully removed, and the deck structure is thoroughly inspected for moisture damage, rot or substrate issues.
Any damaged areas are repaired, then the plywood is sanded and patched to create a smooth, long-lasting foundation for a new membrane.
The new membrane is professionally installed using approved adhesives, heat welded seams, and fully sealed terminations for a watertight finish.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW LONG DOES VINYL DECKING LAST?
CAN I INSTALL VINYL OVERTOP OF DECK BOARDS?
When properly installed, 68mil vinyl decking should last 20-30 years before needing to be replaced.
No. Vinyl decking must be installed over a solid subfloor. We recommend 5/8" T&G plywood and can install it for you if needed.
CAN VINYL DECKING BE REPAIRED?
Yes. Legacy decks specializes in full membrane replacements as well as patch repairs on existing decks. If youre trying to extend the life of your existing deck or have damaged your deck by accident, we are happy to provide patch repair services for a small fee.
